Who makes structure, steel, precast, envelope, site equipment for AI data centers

This is the bill of materials for the shell itself, installed by the contractors in Layers 9.04 and 9.05 according to the design from 9.03: structural steel and precast panels form the building, cement and aggregates go into the foundation and slab, envelope systems (roofing, insulated panels) close it in, and raised floor, doors, and hardware finish the interior. Site and civil work and rented heavy equipment (cranes, earthmovers) are the construction inputs that make the rest possible before any of it is installed. None of these materials are unique to AI data centers — the same steel and concrete go into warehouses and factories — but the AI buildout has added a large, geographically concentrated source of demand on top of existing construction activity, and AI campuses in particular favor precast and modular structural systems that can be fabricated off-site and erected faster than site-built alternatives. Investors should look at regional fabrication and precast capacity near active campus clusters, since this is a category where transport cost limits how far material can travel to meet a schedule-driven project.
