Who makes precast for AI data centers

Precast concrete is cast in a factory and trucked to site as finished panels and structural elements. The reason data centers use so much of it is schedule: a precast shell goes up far faster than one poured in place, the work is not stopped by weather, and the quality is more consistent because it was made indoors. On a building whose delivery date is set by when the accelerators arrive, that is worth paying for. The constraint is geography. Precast is heavy and the economics fall apart beyond a few hundred kilometres of the plant, so every project depends on a producer within trucking distance with capacity in the window it needs. That makes this a genuinely regional market, and it is why a data center cluster forming in a new area can absorb the local precast capacity and push other construction out. It also interacts with the electrical and mechanical fit-out more than it seems: panel layout fixes where openings for pipe, conduit and louvres go, and those are decided before the mechanical design is finished. What to look for is plant capacity within range of a site and how much of it is already committed, whether the producer has done data center work before — the tolerances and embedded-item counts are demanding — and the erection crew, which is a separate constraint from the casting.
