Hyperscaler capex tracker
How much the five largest AI data center buyers spend on property and equipment each quarter, taken straight from their SEC cash-flow statements. This is the demand signal at the top of the supply chain: every dollar here becomes orders for the parts in silicon, power, cooling and networking. Latest filed quarter: 2026-08-31.

What the spend turns into
Capex is the order book for everything this catalog tracks, but it does not split itself by part. Servers and accelerators take the largest share, then the shell, power and cooling plant, then networking. For the supply side of that demand, see which parts are constrained, the sourced customer disclosures from the suppliers' own filings, the facilities being built, and the machines that already exist.
Questions about this data
- Where do these numbers come from?
- Each figure is the "purchases of property and equipment" line from the company's own cash-flow statement, read from the XBRL facts attached to its SEC 10-Q and 10-K filings. Click any number to open the filing it came from.
- Why is a quarter marked derived?
- Cash-flow statements are cumulative within a fiscal year, so only the first quarter is filed on its own. The second quarter is the six-month figure minus the three-month figure, the third is nine months minus six, and the fourth is the full year minus nine months. A derived quarter links both filings it was computed from.
- Is this the same as the capex a company announces on its earnings call?
- Not always. This is cash paid for property and equipment. Several companies also report finance leases, which add data center capacity without appearing on this line, and some guide to a figure that includes them. Treat these as a floor on build spending, not a total.
- Why is Oracle left out of the combined chart?
- Oracle's fiscal quarters end in August, November, February and May, two months off the other four, so adding them into the same calendar bar would blend different periods. Its own row is in the table.
