GE Vernova makes large power transformers and HV switchgear and breakers, including SF6-free switchgear under its g3 line, for grid and substation equipment feeding data center campuses. It also makes gas turbines (LM2500, LM6000, 7HA) for onsite and behind-the-meter power generation, HVDC and STATCOM transmission equipment, and, through a joint venture with Hitachi, the BWRX-300 small modular reactor. It was spun off from General Electric in 2024.
