Who makes rack pdus for AI data centers

Rack PDUs are the metering and distribution point between a rack's facility-side power feed (layer 7) and its internal power shelves or busbar (4.12, 4.15); in a rack-scale AI system this is often a higher-capacity unit than a conventional enterprise rack PDU because it has to feed a system already drawing far more continuous power. PDUs also increasingly carry monitoring and remote-management functions that plug into rack and facility management software, letting operators track power draw at the rack or even the outlet level, which matters more as power becomes the binding constraint on how many racks a given facility can support. For investors, this is a mature, established product category rather than a technology bottleneck, so growth here mostly tracks rack count and rack power density rather than any change in the underlying part itself; the metering and management layer that increasingly comes bundled with a PDU is a smaller, secondary differentiator worth watching.
