Who makes suppression for AI data centers

Suppression hardware is everything between the agent storage and the room: the cylinders and their release mechanism, the pipework, the nozzles, and the control panel that decides when to fire. Water mist systems are in the same category but use very fine water droplets instead of a gas. The design constraint that shapes all of it is that the room is full of running electronics which must survive the event. Two things are easy to underestimate. The first is room integrity: a gaseous system works by holding a concentration for a period, and that only happens if the room holds the gas, which is why integrity testing is a commissioning requirement and why later penetrations for cabling quietly invalidate it. The second is discharge noise — the acoustic energy from a gas discharge through nozzles has been shown to damage hard drives, which changed nozzle design and placement. AI halls complicate this because higher airflow, larger volumes and liquid-cooled cabinets all change how a discharge behaves, and because the electrical and battery rooms alongside them have their own requirements. What to look for is whether room integrity has been tested and retested after fit-out, how the release interlocks with detection and with the cooling plant, and whether the design has been reviewed against the agent in the next part — a suppression system is built around a specific agent and is not trivially converted.
