Lead-time evidence log

Claims about component lead times, each tied to its source. These are individual reports, not a consensus figure — they are deliberately never averaged. A part appearing here once with a 40-week figure doesn't mean 40 weeks is "the" lead time for that part; it means one outlet, on one date, reported that number for that specific supplier or segment. Read each row's source before citing it elsewhere.

Rows come from the same nightly news pipeline that feeds News andBottlenecks: a claim is picked up only when a headline or summary states a concrete duration ("waits of up to 40 months", "booked out for two years", "24-month lead time") tied to a part this catalog tracks. Months and years are normalized to weeks (1 month = 4 weeks, 1 year = 52 weeks) so rows are sortable across units; the "Claim" column always shows the original wording. Most news coverage of a shortage never states a number at all, so this log will always be sparser thanBottlenecks' broader qualitative tags — that's a property of what gets reported, not a gap in the pipeline.
